BULLOCK AND PAULINO LEAD EXPRESS OVER ALFRED

Aurora, NY– Juan Paulino (Bronx, NY) finished with 17 points and 17 rebounds and Darrell Bullock (Chicago, IL) added a game high 20 points as the Wells College men's basketball team walked over the Alfred University Saxons 75-55 on Tuesday night at Alfred. Gary Kwiecien led the Saxons with 18 points in the loss. The Express improve to 2-2 on the season while the Saxons fall to 3-2.

The Express held a 22-point lead after halftime and led by as many as 26 points in the second half as they cruised to the victory. Freshmen Rionn Pradia (Houston, TX) chipped in with a season high 13 points while sophomore Greg Jones (Alexandria, VA) finished with 11 points. The Express shot 50 percent from the floor, out rebounding the Saxons 46-29 while holding the Saxon offense to 12-points in the paint and 31 percent shooting from the floor.

Paulino's double-double marked the third of the season for the senior center, while Bullock has now recorded 20 points or more in three of the first four games of the season.

The Express will next host Hamilton College on Saturday, November 28th at 3:00pm at Wells.
