(Aurora, N.Y.)─ The Wells College men's basketball team jumped out to 16 point lead after the first half and never looked back on their way to a 57-49 victory over the Keuka College Storm on Tuesday evening in Keuka Park. With the win the Express improve to 3-6 (3-2 NEAC), while the loss drops the Storm to 0-8 (0-5 NEAC).

Terry Harrison led four players in double figures with 14 points and nine rebounds. Mabior Mayen added 12 points, five rebounds, and five blocks. Israel Garcia chipped in with 10 points, while Dave Foltz finished 10 points to round out the scoring.

The Express played a suffocating defense in the first half, causing ten turnovers and holding the Storm to just 15 points as Wells entered the break up 31-15.

The Storm responded early in the second half, opening with a 16-2 run to trim the lead two (33-31) with 14 minutes to play. A timeout by Wells would settle the Express and they would take over from there, extending their lead to as many as 14 points late in the second half before closing with the eight point victory.

Wells enters their mid-season break and will not return to action until January 2 when they travel to Virginia to take on Oneonta State in the first game of the Washington & Lee Holiday Tournament at 6 p.m.
