HARRISON AND FOLTZ EARN ALL-CONFERENCE HONORS

AURORA, N.Y. – Wells College men's basketball seniors Terry Harrison (Brooklyn, N.Y.) and Dave Foltz (Auburn, N.Y.) have earned all-conference honors for the North Eastern Athletic Conference helping lead the Express to their fourth straight conference tournament and a 14-11 (11-4 NEAC) record.

 

Harrison was named First Team All-Conference appearing in all 25 games while starting 23 games. He led the Express with 386 points scored, averaging 15.4 points per game and 8.5 rebounds per game which also ranked him fifth and third in the conference respectively.  Harrison scored at least 20 points in eight games including twice scoring 28 points against Ithaca College and Penn. St. Abington. He also finished with 14 double-doubles ranking 14th in the nation. This is Harrison's second straight First Team selection

 

Foltz was named Third All-Conference having scored a total of 345 points while starting all 25 games for the Express. He averaged 13.8 points per game along with a team leading 3.2 assists per game. Foltz also led the team in 3-point field goal percentage at 41.8 percent (46-110) which also ranked him fifth in the NEAC. He also finished with 2.7 steals per game ranking him second in the NEAC and 14th in the nation. Foltz also scored at least 20 points in five games this season; including a career high 29 points in the Express' 82-62 victory over No. 1 seed Morrisville State. This is Foltz first all-conference selection.

 

Wells, the defending NEAC Champions, will take on Penn. St. Harrisburg in the first semifinal round game of the NEAC tournament this Saturday at 2 p.m. on the campus of Morrisville State College in Morrisville, N.Y.
