Wells College men's basketball was back in action monday night at SUNY Oneonta for another non conference match-up.
The Express shot a low percentage from the field in the first half, digging themselves a hole on the road. After being out rebounded and losing the turnover battle, Wells was down 41-22 at the half. In the second half, Wells did not score for almost five minutes against the Oneonta defense. Chase Welch broke the drought with two free throws followed by a layup from Terrance Clayton-Murphy. Oneonta continued to build on their lead in the second half and did not let the Express back into this one. Wells fell on the road by a score of 101-53.
Up next, men's basketball will host Pitt Bradford on wednesday to open up conference play.
