Aurora, NY –The Wells College men's lacrosse team was defeated 25-0 by Marywood University in non-conference action Saturday afternoon at Marywood. With the loss the Express remain winless at 0-8 while Marywood improves to 9-4 on the season.
Fourteen different players scored for Marywood led by Sean Myers' four goals while Josh Geiger and Dustin Sturdevant finished with three goals apiece. The Express were outshot 67-10 on the afternoon while finishing with 31 groundballs and 6-28 on the face-off. Express Goalie Kyle Brimm (Geneva) finished with 21 saves in the loss.
The Express will return to action on Monday, April 20th as they host NEAC rival Medaille College at 4:00 pm in Aurora.
