Vargas Named All-NEAC in Men’s Soccer

Wells College senior Junger Vargas has been named as a 2019 All-NEAC Men's Soccer team selection by opposing coaches.

It was the third-consecutive year Vargas has been named to one of the three NEAC men's soccer teams. After two seasons as a second team selection, Vargas was chosen this year to the conference's third team.

The Islip, N.Y. native was in the top-three in four offensive categories for Wells College this past season. He led the team in assists and shots, finished second in points and third in goals.

It was also the third-consecutive year that Vargas has finished with double-digit points. He led the Express to an early-season win streak by collecting eight points in a pair of games that earned him NEAC Men's Soccer Offensive Player of the Week in September.

Vargas finishes his career at Wells with 56 points that came from 20 goals and 16 assists. More information about the rest of the men's soccer NEAC selections can be found at:
