Men's Soccer Hosts The Red Hawks

Wells College men's soccer hosted the La Roche Redhawks for another AMCC conference game on Saturday afternoon.

This match up proved to be a defensive struggle with both teams having to work hard to find opportunities to score. The first scoring opportunity for Wells came in the first half when Kris Jones took on two defenders and was stopped by the La Roche Keeper. La Roche took a 1-0 lead in the first half of that carried until half time. In the second half, the Express created constant pressure on the Redhawk defense but despite the efforts were not able to score. Sean Nemeth came up with 9 big saves in this one to keep the lead at only 1 for most of the game.

Ultimately the Express fell 1-0 at home.
