Men's Swimming Overpowered By Buffalo St., 185-16

BUFFALO, N.Y. – The Wells College men's swimming team posted a 185-16 defeat at the hands of Buffalo State College Sunday afternoon at Kissinger Pool. Wells falls to 1-6 overall in head-to-head meets on the year while the host Bengals move to 2-1 on the season.

Freshman Owen May (Warsaw, N.Y.) had a strong performance for the Express in the 50 Yard Freestyle, turning in a time of 25.28 to earn three points following a third place finish in the event. Later in the day, senior Tyler Fischetti (Weedsport, N.Y.) posted a time of 1:05.45 in the 100 Yard Butterfly to place third for Wells.

The Express return to action Wednesday, Jan. 14 as they face-off against the Pioneers of Alfred State College for the third time this season. The meet will begin at the Wells College Aquatic Center at 1 p.m.
