Men's Swimming Returns To Action At Utica

The Wells College men's swimming team returned to competitive action in the 2016-17 season with a three-team meet. Wells was joined by Alfred University in a meet hosted by Utica College on Friday, Jan. 13. Utica posted a 169-40 victory over Wells and Alfred defeated Wells by a score of 182-31.

Ian Ronan was fifth in the 100-yard butterfly with a time of 1:09.40. Shawn Snell was fifth in the 100-yard butterfly.

The 200-yard freestyle relay of Adam Sleezer, Brandon Sprague, Lucas Donnenwirth and Austin Heil times in at 1:46.91.

Wells returns to action Saturday, Jan. 14 with a home meet against Pitt-Bradford at 1 p.m. Seniors for the men's and women's teams will be honored prior to the start of the meet.
