Dual Win For Men's Swimming Over Cazenovia

The Wells College men's swimming team wrapped up its regular season with a victory over Cazenovia College in a neutral-site dual meet Saturday, Jan. 26 at William Smith College in Geneva, N.Y. Wells won the dual by a score of 82-21.

Wells won both relays unopposed. The 200-yard medley relay of Brandon Sprague, Aaron Connolly, Richard Ford, and Bennett Ervin swam 2:11.02. The 200-yard freestyle relay of Ford, Jose Ramirez, Sprague, and Ervin finished in 2:00.21.

Wells had victories in five individual events.

Connolly took first in the 100-yard freestyle in 1:00.28 and first in the 200-yard breaststroke in 2:46.75.

Ervin won the 50-yard freestyle in 28.05 seconds

Ford was first in the 400-yard individual medley in 6:05.32.

Ramirez won the 200-yard backstroke in 3:27.61

Wells will utilize the next couple of weeks to prepare for the North Eastern Athletic Conference championship meet, hosted by Cazenovia College on Feb. 15-17.
