Men's Volleyball Tests Itself Against Top Teams

The Wells College men's volleyball team tested itself against two of the very best teams in the country during two matches Saturday, Feb. 18 at Springfield College. In the first match of the day, Wells fell in straight sets against host Springfield, the number-one ranked team in the nation. In the second match, 12th-ranked Lasell College defeated Wells in three sets.

The Express holds a 5-9 overall record on the season. Wells will return to North Eastern Athletic Conference action, and play its first home match of the season, on Thursday at 7 p.m. against Keuka College.

No. 1 SPRINGFIELD 3, WELLS 0

Set scores were 25-15, 25-12, 25-18. Brannon Perdicho had eight kills and a .174 hitting percentage for the Express. Josh Undari had 13 assists. Pedicho and Caden O'Loughlin had seven digs each.

No. 12 LASELL 3, WELLS 0

Lasell won by scores of 25-12, 25-12, 25-13. O'Loughlin and Perdicho had six kills each. O'Loughlin and Scott Litvin each had six digs. Undari had 13 assists.
