Two More Wins For Wells Men's Volleyball

The Wells College men's volleyball team ran away with a pair of three-set wins in non-conference action on Saturday, March 25 in matches hosted by Wilkes University in Wilkes-Barre, Pa. In a neutral-site matchup, Wells swept City College of New York by scores of 25-21, 25-9, 25-19. The Express followed that up with a win over host Wilkes by set scores of 25-15, 25-19, 25-14.

Wells improved its overall record to 15-10 on the season. The Express will play at home Tuesday, March 28 in North Eastern Athletic Conference action against SUNY Polytechnic Institute at 7 p.m.

Wells 3, CCNY 0

Wells hit .295 as a team and had 39 kills against just 13 hitting errors in the opening match of the afternoon. Brannon Perdicho had 12 kills and Jonathan Haines had eight. Josh Undari had 20 assists and Scott Litvin had 12 assists. Wells served three aces and combined for six blocks. Haines, Undari, and Ryan Turner all had three block assists. Perdicho led Wells with 10 digs.

Wells 3, Wilkes 0

Wells continued its effective hitting with 35 kills and just six errors in the second match of the day. The Express hit .362 as a team, and .290 or higher in all three sets. Caden O'Loughlin had nine kills to lead the Express and Perdicho had seven. O'Loughlin served four aces and was one of three Wells players to have six digs. Haines led Wells with four block assists. Undari (19) and Litvin (13) each dished out double-digit assists.
