Perdicho Earns NEAC Men's Volleyball Honor

Brannon Perdicho of the Wells College men's volleyball team was named North Eastern Athletic Conference Player of the Week for the week ending Jan. 28. In addition to leading Wells to two victories in three matches last week, Perdicho reached a significant milestone with 1,000 career kills.

Wells was 2-1 last week at the Elmira College Invitational with victories over Thiel and Cairn, and a five-set loss to the host Soaring Eagles. Perdicho totaled 44 kills, three service aces, 15 digs and five solo blocks, and three block assists. He averaged 3.67 kills per set.

Perdicho's distinguished Wells career has included three-straight seasons of All-NEAC recognition, including first-team honors as a junior in 2017. He was a second-team honoree in 2016 and 2015. This is the fourth NEAC weekly award of his career.

Perdicho is a psychology major with a minor in education and a native of Victor, N.Y.

Wells will play two matches at The Sage Colleges on Saturday, Feb. 3. beginning with a noon match against host Sage, followed by a 2 p.m. match against Emmanuel College.
