Hernon Leads Men's XC At Yellowjacket Invitational

ROCHESTER, N.Y. – Senior Paul Hernon (New Hartford, N.Y.) led all entrants from his squad as the Wells College men's cross country team posted a 23rd place finish at the University of Rochester Yellowjacket Invitational on Saturday. Hernon's 8K time of 32:05.7 placed him 227th amongst the field of 281 runners.

Junior Stephen Armstrong (Horseheads, N.Y.) finished in 232nd place with a time of 32:21.5. Sophomore Ky'aire Reed (Trenton, N.J.) and senior Andrew Judson (Court Gambrillis, Md.) placed 264th and 262nd, respectively, with times of 36:48.5 and 37:40.2. Junior Zachary Tripsas (Elka Park, N.Y.) finished in 278th place with a time of 42:39.2 while junior Raymond Soriano (Laredo, Texas) rounded out the field with a time of 54:47.7.

Wells returns to action Saturday, Oct. 11 as they partake in the Hamilton Invitational beginning at high noon.
