Men's Cross Country Competes At Hamilton Invitational

CLINTON, N.Y. – The Wells College men's cross country team placed 17th at the Hamilton College Cross Country Invitational on Saturday. Wells posted 522 total points against the 17 team field.

Junior Stephen Armstrong (Horseheads, N.Y.) once again led the way for Wells, posting a time of 31:12.7 across the 8K course. Senior Paul Hernon (New Hartford, N.Y.) was second for the Express, completing the course with a time of 31:21.1 to finish 99th as an individual. Sophomore Ky'aire Reed (Trenton, N.J.) placed 106th, posting a time of 33:53.3.

Senior Andrew Judson (Court Gambrillis, Md.) was fourth amongst Wells participants, crossing the finish line in 36:16.8 while junior Zachary Tripsas (Hunter, N.Y.) finished in 112th place (38:51.7). Junior Raymond Soriano (Laredo, Texas) rounded out the field with a time of 52:02.5.

The Express return to action Saturday, Oct. 18 as they participate at the Cross Country Only Championships at high noon in Geneva, N.Y. at Seneca Lake State Park.
