HAMILTON DEFENSE OVERPOWERS EXPRESS

(Aurora, N.Y.)─ Madie Harlem scored a game high 22 points and grabbed 10 rebounds as Hamilton College rolled to a 69-27 victory over Wells College in non-conference women's basketball action Saturday afternoon in Clinton. Ashley Roser (Taberg, N.Y./Camden) led the Express with 12 points, seven rebounds, and three blocked shots, while Kristen Ryan (Syracuse, N.Y./Bishop Ludden) chipped in with five points and four rebounds. The loss drops the Express to 1-4 on the year, while Hamilton remains unbeaten at 3-0.

The Express shot 25.6 percent from the field, including just 5 of 24 in the second half, and committed 29 turnovers.
 

The Continentals scored the first eight points, shot 42.4 percent from the field, and would never trail as they cruised to the victory. Dani Feigin finished with 16 points for the Continentals, while Blue Sanders added 12 points and five assists.

The Express next travel to Cazenovia College on Wednesday, Dec 1 for a North Eastern Athletic Conference game set to tip at 6 p.m.
