ROSER NAMED NEAC WOMEN'S BASKETBALL STUDENT-ATHLETE OF THE WEEK

AURORA, N.Y. - Ashley Roser (Taberg, N.Y.) has been named NEAC Women's Basketball Student-Athlete of the Week for her strong performance for the Express. The sophomore forward put up stats all across the board in a 2-1 week for the Express, averaging 20.6 points, 16.3 rebounds, 2.7 steals and 2.7 blocks per game. 

In a come from behind 66-65 win victory over SUNY Canton last Wednesday, Roser scored eight of the final 10 Express points and finished with game highs of 32 points and 17 rebounds. She closed out the week with two more double-double in conference play, grabbing a game-high 16 boards to go along with 10 points, two assists, two steals, and two blocks in a loss to Penn. St. Harrisburg on Saturday before posting game highs of 19 points, 16 rebounds, five steals and five blocks in a 63-50 victory over Gallaudet. 

Roser currently leads the NEAC in rebounds per game (14.5), while being third in both points (18.9) and blocks (2.2) per game.
