AURORA, N.Y. – Senior Holli Erkson (Cooperstown, N.Y.) became the second student-athlete in the history of the Wells College women's basketball team to score at least 1,000 points on Saturday. Entering the day with 985 career points to her credit, Erkson surpassed the 1,000-point threshold after collecting a cross-court pass from freshman Carley Ryan (Middleburgh, Pa.) and pouring home a three-point basket with 3:58 remaining in the third quarter. Finishing with 19 points, she enters Sunday's game against Gallaudet with 1,004 career points to place her second all-time in team history.
