Women's Basketball Takes On The Bison In DC

Wells College women's basketball took off for their final road trip of the season. Tonight they visited the Bison of Gallaudet University for a conference match-up. The Bison would win this one, 79-26. 

In the first half, Morgan Adams and Ai Ortia would do all the scoring for the Express combining for 14 points. Morgan Adams also grabbed 9 first-half rebounds. As a team, the Express tallied 21 rebounds but the Bison combined for 37 while shooting 40% from the field. At the half, the Bison would be up 38-14. Adams completed the double-double with 12 points and 13 rebounds while also coming up with a few steals. Unfortunately, the Bison offense was too much for Wells College to keep up with on the road.

Women's basketball will compete in their first game of the season tomorrow afternoon at 1 PM at St Mar's College of Maryland.
