Women's Basketball Hits The Road For Greensburg

Wells College women's basketball was back on the road this weekend taking on Pitt Greensburg in another AMCC match-up. 

The Express had their highest scoring quarter in the first with four different players contributing. Unfortunately, Wells shot under 20% from the field and from three-point range against a strong Greensburg defense. Pitt Greensburg forced the Express into twenty-eight turnovers and scored thirty-two points off of them. Trinity Thornton led the Express with nine points and six rebounds, followed by Gianna Padula with eight points. 

The Express will return home Monday evening to host an old United East foe, Penn College.
