WELLS ROLLS TO DOMINATING VICTORY OVER WILSON COLLEGE

Aurora, N.Y.– Eight different players scored as the Wells College women's lacrosse team (2-3, 1-0 NEAC) crushed the Wilson College Phoenix 20-0 (0-4, 0-1 NEAC) in North Eastern Athletic Conference action Saturday afternoon in Aurora, N.Y. Emily Lotkowictz (Skaneateles, N.Y./Skaneateles) led the scoring barrage with six goals and two assists, while Madeline Bass (Lemon Grove, Calif./Helix) finished with five points on two goals and three assists. Elizabeth Barclay (Laporte, Pa./Lincoln Academy) earned the shutout victory with five saves in net, while Alexandra Roemer (Kimberton, Pa./Upattanas) took the loss in net for the Phoenix finishing with eight saves.

The Express dominated the game from start to finish holding the advantage in shots (33-8), ground balls (29-21), and draw controls (12-4), while scoring 11 goals on extra-man opportunities and forcing 18 Wilson turnovers. 

Wells held an 8-0 lead less than 10 minutes into the game and entered the break up 13-0 before cruising to the 20-0 victory.

Anna Breard (Biddeford, Maine/Biddeford) finished with three goals and one assists, Sarah Allen (Clay, N.Y./Cicero-North) scored three goals, Stefanie Miller (Barton, N.Y./Tioga Central) and Charlotte Fielding (Queensbury, N.Y./Queensbury) each had two goals, Gabriella Decker (Encinitas, Calif./San Dieguito) and Amanda Catalano (Lockport, N.Y./Royalton Hartland) added one goal apiece, while Eleanor Eshenour (Waterloo, N.Y./Waterloo) chipped in with one assists to round out the scoring for the Express.
