WELLS CRUISES TO FOURTH-STRAIGHT NAC WEST VICTORY

(Aurora, N.Y.)─ All around scoring by the Wells College women's lacrosse team help lead the Express past the Penn. St. Abington Nittany Lions 15–2, earning their fourth straight North Atlantic Conference West Division victory on Sunday afternoon in Aurora, N.Y.  With the win the Express improve to 6–4 (4-0 NACW), while Penn. St. Abington falls to 0–7 (0-4 NACW).
 
Eight different players scored for the Express with Sara Allen (Clay, N.Y./Cicero-North) leading the way with four goals.  Stephanie Miller (Barton, N.Y./Tioga-Central) scored three goals and added one assist while Courtney Grosser (Penfield, N.Y./Webster Schroeder) and Anna Breard (Biddeford, Maine/Biddeford) chipped in with two goals apiece.  Rounding out the scoring for Wells was Madeline Bass (Lemon Grove, Calif./Helix), Kendra Francis (Hooper, Utah/Fremont), Stephanie Motes (Suwanee, Ga./North Gwinnett), and Ariel Taft (Cazenovia, N.Y./Cazenovia) who each tallied one goal.
 
Anna Dybas (Philadelphia, Pa.) finished with ten saves in net for the Nittany Lions while Danielle Savoni (Horsham, Pa./Hatboro-Horsham) added two goals.
 
The Express dominated the Nittany Lions in every facet of the game, controlling the advantage in shots (28 -7), groundballs (10-5), draw controls (10-8), and converting on four of five free position shots.
 
The Express jumped out to an early 7-0 lead in the first 15 minutes of the game and would lead 11-1 at the break before pouring on four more goals in the second half en route to the win.
 
The Express look to continue their conference dominance when they travel to take on SUNY Morrisville on Friday, April 15 in Morrisville, N.Y.  The contest will begin at 7 p.m.
