Penn. St. Abington over Wells Express

Aurora, NY- The Wells College Express suffered a tough loss to Penn State Abington this evening.  The first half began with the Lady Express leading 3-0 before Abington scored four consecutive goals, giving Abington a 4-3 lead.  At the end of first half, the Lady Express had a 6-5 lead.The second half began with a goal by Abington off of a free position. They widened their lead in the second half to 15-6, scoring nine consecutive, unanswered goals. The Lady Express scored 4 goals in the final 5 minutes of the game, making the final score 10-17. The victory for Abington helped them improve to 1-6, 1-2 NEAC while Wells College dropped 2-6, 2-1 in NEAC.

The Lady Express will play the College of Saint Elizabeth on the road at 11 AM tomorrow morning.
