WELLS WOMEN’S SOCCER ATHLETES NAMED TO ALL-CONFERENCE TEAM

Aurora, New York – Four Wells College women's soccer players were named to the NEAC All-Conference Team on Thursday. Junior Emily Lotkowictz and Senior Daisha King were named to the NEAC 2nd-Team All-Conference while Seniors Amanda Heterbring and Claire Petersen were named to the NEAC 3rd-Team All-Conference.

Lotkowictz led all Express players with five goals and 12-points, while recording 29 shots on the season.

Primarily defensive players, Daisha King and Amanda Heterbring helped lead the Express defense to a 1.24 Goals Against Average (2nd in the conference) while posting six shutouts on the season. King finished with two assists while Heterbring had four goals and one assist.

Senior goalie Claire Petersen finished the season with a 1.64 Goals Against Average, 148 saves, and .831 save percentage.

Wells is currently the sixth seed in the NEAC Championship Tournament and defeated #3 D'Youville College on Thursday, 3-2. The Express move on to the semi-final round against #2 SUNY Cobleskill on Saturday, November 8th, at 2:00 pm at Keuka College.
