Express Blanked By Wildcats, 3-0

MARCY, N.Y. – The Wells College women's soccer team was blanked by the Wildcats of SUNYIT 3-0 Saturday afternoon. With the loss, the Express drop their fourth game in a row to fall to 2-10 on the season (1-6 NEAC). The Wildcats improve to 6-7 overall (5-3 NEAC) on the year following the game.

Jamie Elderbroom scored two goals on the afternoon, her first coming at 13:26 and her second clocked at 24:29 of the first period. Dakota Hanley struck for the third goal of the afternoon for the Wildcats at 42:11, beating Express goaltender Ashley Roser (Taberg, N.Y.) on a one-on-one breakout. The Express kept the Wildcats off of the board in the second half.

Roser (2-10) draws her 10th loss of the year, despite turning aside seven of 10 shots on goal that she faced. Aubrey Campbell (6-7) collects her sixth victory of the year, halting all three shots on net before yielding to teammate Margaret Werenczek with just under 30 minutes remaining in the game. Werenczek made one save to close out the game for the Wildcats.
