Mackenzie Maloney Named All-NEAC

Wells College women's soccer junior midfielder Mackenzie Maloney earned postseason recognition as the North Eastern Athletic Conference announced its 2017 all-conference teams and individual award winners. Maloney was voted by league coaches to the All-NEAC Third Team.

Maloney led Wells with 10 goals and 23 points. She had three assists, which ranked second on the team. Maloney's totals ranked in the top 15 among all NEAC players in both goals and points.

It is the third year in a row that Maloney, a native of Huntington Station, N.Y., has earned All-NEAC recognition. As a freshman in 2015 she was on the Second Team and as a sophomore in 2016 she was voted to the Third Team.

The Wells College women's soccer team finished the season with a 6-11-0 overall record and had a four-match winning streak in October. Wells was 4-6-0 record in NEAC games. The Express tied for fifth in the NEAC North Division with a 2-4-0 record against divisional opponents.
