The Wells College women's soccer team dropped a 4-0 contest to host Penn College on Friday, Nov. 1.
After surrendering three first-half goals to the Wildcats, the Express turned up their performance in the second half that was decided by just a single tally. It was the eighth time this season that Wells and its opposition played a 45-minute half that was decided by a single goal.
Jennifer McCumber continued her stellar play from the net as the Express' goalkeeper with 10 saves on the evening.
The freshman keeper improved her North Eastern Athletic Conference save total to 177 on the season and now needs 23 to reach 200 for the season. McCumber currently has more than 50 saves than the next closest NEAC goalkeeper.
The Wells College women's soccer team completes the weekend at Penn State-Berks with a 2 p.m. contest on Saturday, Nov. 2.
