Bio

Patrick Arancio was named Wells College head women's soccer coach in December 2020 and began his new role in January 2021.

Arancio returns to the Wells College soccer scene after nearly a decade removed from his playing days for the Express' men's soccer team between 2008-2011.

Sandwiched between a pair of collegiate coaching stints at both the women's and men's levels, Arancio obtained his master's degree in sports science from Ohio University in 2018.

The 2012 Wells College graduate spent a pair of seasons as an assistant women's soccer coach for the SUNY Morrisville Mustangs in 2016 and 2017, and spent the 2019 and 2020 seasons as the head men's soccer coach at Tompkins-Cortland Community College in Dryden.

Arancio was part of the Wells men's soccer program's historic first playoff win during his second season in a thrilling double overtime contest in the North Eastern Athletic Conference's 2009 opening playoff round.

In addition to his collegiate coaching resume, Arancio has also spent several seasons as a girl's head coach with SDA Utica, one of central N.Y.'s premier youth soccer clubs. The Clinton native also holds a United States Soccer Federation National D License.
