THREE EARN ALL-CONFERENCE HONORS AT NEAC CHAMPIONSHIP

(Aurora, N.Y.)─ The Wells College men's and women's cross country team finished 5th and 8th respectively at the North Eastern Athletic Conference Cross Country Championship held at Penn. St. Berks on Saturday afternoon in Reading, Pa. Brayden Shumski earned NEAC Men's Cross Country All-Conference honors, while Brienne Goodson and Stephanie Santamaria earned NEAC All-Conference honors on the women's side.
 
SUNY IT took home the NEAC Men's Championship with a team score of 32. SUNY Cobleskill took home the NEAC Women's Championship with a team score of 30.
 
Along with his NEAC honors, Shumksi led the men's team with a 10th place finish and a time of 29.11. Tony Petri finished 26th with a time of 31:57. Sam Share finished 27th with a time of 32:01. Kyle Brownell finished 31st with a time of 32:14. Van Bucsko finished 38th with a time of 33:33, while Tim Lambert finished 54th with a time of 35:32.
 
Brienne Goodson led the women's team finishing 16th with a time of 22:43. Stephanie Santamaria finished 20th with a time of 23:15. Brittany Dennee finished 39th with a time of 25:14. Sarah Deschenes finished 44th with a time of 27:35. Sarah Brenner placed 46th with a time of 27:57. Tara Wild finished 62nd with a time of 29:53, while Elizabeth Raymond finished 70th with a time of 41:18.
