Women's Cross Country Runs At Morrisville

The Wells College women's cross country team competed Saturday, Sept. 9 at the Morrisville State Mustang Invitational. The six-kilometer course was competed under overcast and cool conditions. It is also the course that will host the North Eastern Athletic Conference championships at the end of the season.

Amanda Fastiggi was the top finisher for the Express with a time of 29 minutes, 31 seconds. She was followed by Miranda Mingen with a time of 32:18.

Nana Ogata ran 34:07 and Kaylen Furr timed in at 36:15. Aala Al-Hashimi finished in 46:06.

Wells placed 10th in a field of 10 teams. Incomplete team lineups from Penn State Abington, Hudson Valley Community College and Gallaudet also competed in the race.

The next meet for the Express is Saturday, Sept. 16 at the Oswego State Invitational.
