Fastiggi Runs At NCAA Atlantic Regionals

Wells College women's cross country junior Amanda Fastiggi competed at the NCAA Division III Atlantic Region Cross Country Championships on Saturday, Nov. 11 at Houghton, N.Y.

Fastiggi ran a time of 26 minutes, 23.6 seconds over the six-kilometer course. She placed 197th in a field of 285 student-athletes representing 41 institutions. Fastiggi's time was an improvement of three minutes, 38 seconds over her time at the NEAC Championships on Oct. 28 at Morrisville.

The athletes raced in frigid temperatures that hovered in the mid-20s most of the morning and early afternoon over the Field of Dreams Cross Country Course at Houghton College.
