2012-13: Earned his team's Rookie of the Year award as a freshman...Was a three-time NEAC Student-Athlete of the Week selection (12/03/12, 01/14/13, 01/21/13)...Was a part of the First Team All-NEAC entries in the 200 Yard Medley Relay (1:51.5) and the sole First Team selection in the 400 Yard Individual Medley (4:46.25), setting a team record in the latter event...Earned Second Team recognition in the 200 Yard Individual Medley (2:17.93) and was a part of two second place finishes at the NEAC Championships in the 200 Yard Freestyle Relay (1:35.25), 400 Yard Freestyle Relay (3:38.57) and the 800 Yard Freestyle Relay (8:02.17, fastest time in team history)...Earned a third place finish in the 200 Yard Backstroke (2:16.70), securing Third Team All-NEAC honors...Posted the fifth-fastest time in program history in the 500 Yard Freestyle (5:38.60) against Alfred St. (01/16/13)...At the time, posted the third-fastest 100 Yard Backstroke time (1:08.52) in his collegiate debut on Sept. 29...Recorded the second-fastest time in team history in the 200 Yard Backstroke (2:16.70) in the NEAC Championship...Also holds top-10 record times in the 100 Yard Butterfly (1:02.33, 12/01/12 vs. Cobleskill St. and Gallaudet) and the 200 Yard Butterfly (01/11/13 vs. Buffalo St., 2:20.52).

PRIOR TO WELLS: 2012 graduate of Williamsville East HS...Played volleyball and was a member of the swim team in high school...Earned Honor Roll recognition and was a member of the National Honor Society...Served as the captain of the swim team, holding several high school records.
