May 1, 2019 Five From Women's Lacrosse Earn All-Conference The Wells College women’s lacrosse team had five players earn all-conference recognition as the North Eastern Athletic Conference announced its individual honors and all-conference teams for the 2019 season. Mackenzie Maloney and Savanah Connors were First Team honorees. Anna Bozeat was on the Second Team, and Renee Bartosz and Julia Smith earned Third Team honors.
April 30, 2019 Cazenovia Rallies For Playoff OT Win In Women's Lacrosse The Wells College women’s lacrosse team lost 14-13 in overtime to Cazenovia College in a North Eastern Athletic Conference first-round playoff game on Tuesday, April 30 at the Wells Turf Field.
April 27, 2019 Fourth Win In A Row For Women's Lacrosse The Wells College women’s lacrosse team won its fourth game in a row and wrapped up the regular season with a 17-8 win at Medaille College on Saturday, April 27. Wells clinched fourth place in the NEAC standings and will host a conference playoff game Tuesday against Cazenovia College.
April 26, 2019 Bartosz Shines In Hometown Return, Women's Lacrosse Wins The Wells College women's lacrosse team opened the final weekend of the regular season with a 20-3 victory at Hilbert College on Friday. The Express was led by a hometown return performance from Renee Bartosz. The Wells senior, a native of Hamburg, scored six goals and added two assists.
April 20, 2019 Senior Day Victory For Wells Women's Lacrosse The Wells College women’s lacrosse team honored its 10-member senior class and won a North Eastern Athletic Conference game on Saturday, April 20 at the Wells Turf Field. Wells defeated Lancaster Bible College 20-11 to improve to 4-3 in the conference and 6-5 overall.
April 19, 2019 Balanced Scoring Leads To Women's Lacrosse Victory The Wells College women’s lacrosse team picked up another North Eastern Athletic Conference victory on Friday, April 19 with a 21-7 win over Penn State Abington. Wells stands in fifth place in the conference with three games remaining. The top six teams in the standings qualify for the playoffs.
April 14, 2019 Women's Lacrosse Comeback Falls Short At SUNY Poly The Wells College women’s lacrosse team had a spirited comeback but came up short in a 23-22 loss at SUNY Poly on Sunday, April 14. The Express trailed by five goals in each half, eventually tied it 22-22 with eight and a half minutes remaining, but the host Wildcats scored the winning goal in the final minute of the second half.
April 13, 2019 First-Place Morrisville Runs Past Women's Lacrosse The Wells College women’s lacrosse team lost 21-4 at first-place Morrisville State on Saturday, April 14. The Mustangs had a run of seven goals in the first half and nine goals in the second half of the game.
April 7, 2019 Late First-Half Surge Boosts Women's Lacrosse Win The Wells College women’s lacrosse team is back in the win column and back over .500 following a 20-12 win over D’Youville College on Sunday, April 7 at the Wells Turf Field.
