Men's Cross Country Takes On Hamilton Tune-Up

The Wells College men's cross country team competed over a five-kilometer course at the Hamilton College Tune-Up meet Saturday, Oct. 21 at the Hamilton Golf Course. There was no team scoring for the event, but six Wells men's runners competed.

Eli Stone led Wells with a 32nd-place finish in a field of 59 runners. Stone ran a time of 18 minutes, 34 seconds. Tony D'Arpino (18:56), Tanner Mingen (19:12), and Austin Heil (19:22) also broke the 20-minute mark for the Express.

John Tolly finished in 22:12 and Bradlee Sherman ran 23:08 to round out the Wells lineup.

This short-course meet was a prep event ahead of next weekend's conference championship meets across the region. Wells will compete at the North Eastern Athletic Conference Championships hosted by Morrisville State College on Saturday, Oct. 28.
