Wells College women's soccer hosted the St Elizbeth University Eagles for their home opener on Saturday Afternoon.
It took the Eagles just six minutes to take a 1-0 lead over the Express. Nine minutes later the Eagles built on their lead making it 2-0 heading into halftime. The Express struggled on offense producing only two shots on goal coming from Hannah Lamont and Anna Bernatavitz. A bright spot for the Express was Mya Chickering who made her first career start in goal and collected 23 total saves.
The Express fell in this one, 4-0.
Up next women's soccer is a road game at Keystone College on Tuesday at 6 pm.
