Women’s XC Competes At Yellowjacket Invitational

ROCHESTER, N.Y. – Sophomore Deaven Theriault (Ludlow, Mass.) led all members of the Wells College women's cross country team at the University of Rochester Yellowjacket Invitational on Saturday. The Express placed 19th as a team with 596 points after completing the 6K course.

Theriault's time of 26:53.9 placed her 157th amongst the field of 283 runners. Junior Katie Lamanna (Constableville, N.Y.) placed 215th amongst the field with a time of 28:35.2 while senior Anastasia Benson (Rockford, Ill.) was 243rd, completing the course in 29:57.3. Junior Lindsey Guzewicz (Auburn, N.Y.) posted a time of 31:01.5 while senior Veronica Frisenda (Patterson, Calif.) rounded out the point getters for Wells, finishing in 32:16.0.

Freshman Audrey Woolever (Owego, N.Y.) crossed the line in 33:51 while senior Paige Fralick (Mexico, N.Y.) turned in a time of 41:11.6. Freshman Afton Noha (Seneca Falls, N.Y.) rounded out the Wells participants with a time of 42:51.9.

Wells will compete next at the Hamilton Invitational at 11 a.m. on Saturday, Oct. 11.
