The Express Hit The Ground Running at SUNY Poly

If you didn't know yet, the Wells Express brought back men's and women's cross country and kicked off their season today at the SUNY Poly Wildcat Short Course Invitational. 

On the women's side, Hannah Lamont, Sydney Bateman, Ruby Nelson, Christa Koagel, and Taylor Robinson all lined up for their first meet of the season. 

The women's team finished 4th out of 7 teams with Hannah Lamont (21:14, 13th) and Sydney Bateman (22:10, 17th). 

For the men, Aidan Cort, Angel Ortero, Terrance Clayton-Murphy, Jovon Scott, and Billy McCrae were ready for their first meet of the season. 

Aidan Cort placed in the top 20 with a time of 22:54.

Next weekend the Express will be at Hamilton College for their Short Course Invitational.
