SHUMSKI PLACES SECOND IN WELLS COLLEGE DUAL MEET

AURORA, N.Y. – The Wells College men's cross country team fell to the Keuka College Storm (23-33) in the dual meet held on Wednesday in Aurora. Brayden Shumski (Everett, Wash.) paced the Expresss, placing second with a time of 23:07.2. Keuka placed in four of the top five times to earn the victory over Wells. 

Evando Nascimento (Geneva, Switzerland) and Tony Petri (East Middlebury, Vt.) placed fifth and sixth with times of 25:22.5 and 25:42.1 respectively, while teammates Bryant Sanders (Stroudsburg, Pa.) place ninth (26:10.1), Tim Lambert (Clay, N.Y.) placed 11th (28:32.4) and Michael Lynch (New Hartford, N.Y.) placed 17th with a time of 35:42.5 to round out the finishers for Wells.

Lee Bottoni of Keuka led the Storm, placing first overall with a time of 23:01.6, while leading his team to a first place finish over Wells.
