FREDONIA, N.Y. – Freshman Danielle Bautista (Moorpark, Calif.) picked up wins at No. 6 singles and No. 3 doubles as the Wells College women's tennis team combined to post a 7-2 loss to Fredonia State University on Saturday at the Steele Hall Tennis Courts. Wells drops to 1-3 overall on the year while Fredonia St. evens their record at 2-2.

Bautista dispatched her counterpart at No. 6 singles by a 6-1, 6-3 score after partnering with junior Kevisha Hunt (Germantown, Md.) to post a 9-7 win at No. 3 doubles. In her young career, Bautista boasts a career singles record of 2-2 and a 3-1 record when playing alongside Hunt.

Wells returns to action Saturday, Sept. 20 as they face-off against Keuka on the road at 1 p.m.
