Express Swimming Continues To Improve Every Meet

Wells College men's & women's swimming traveled to Roberts Wesleyan on Saturday to take on the Redhawks and the Utica University Pioneers. The Express was coming off a road victory over the Medaille Mavericks the previous weekend. 

The Express would finish third in the match but not without some bright spots in the afternoon.

Denzel Mackenzie finished first in the 200 backstroke and it was his first time swimming in this event this season! Q Evans moved up to 4th place on the Wells College all-time list in the 200-yard fly. 

In the 50 freestyle, both Denzel Mackenzie (23.98) and Q Evans (24.00) earned personal best times! They are now 9th and 10th respectively on the Wells College all-time list in the 50 free!

Also, shout out to Rowan Mayette for finishing second in the women's 200-yard backstroke. 

Wells College swimming will be back in action Saturday, December 3rd at Pitt Bradford!
