Men's Soccer Takes On the Celtics

Wells College men's soccer hosted the Carlow University Celtics on Saturday afternoon for more conference action.

The first twenty minutes of this match-up were highly contested. Both teams had opportunities to score that were turned away by the keepers while physical play began to develop on both ends of the field. Carlow took a small lead in the 21st minute with the first goal of the game. The Celtics added to their lead with two more goals before halftime. In the second half, the Express outshot the Celtics 10-5 and constantly put pressure on the Carlow defense. Dylan Sedours had a few looks at the goal but was not able to find the back of the net. Carlow won this one, 3-0.

Up next for men's soccer, they will head to Alfred State on Wednesday for a 7 p.m. game.
