Day 3 of Allegheny Empire Swimming Championships

Wells College men's and women's swimming compteted today in Day 3 of the Allegheny Empire Swimming and Diving Championships.  Exceptional finishes in the nightcap of the finals in 100 Backstroke for Zoey Barr and Kevin Reilly and 100 Butterfly for Qulik Evans and Rowan Mayette. Barr contuinued with her hot streak and fastest times, moving up to 4th place on the All Wells Top 10 with a finish time of 1:07.27 in the 100 Backstroke placing her in 16th place at the Chanpionship.  Reilly finished 20th in the Championship with a time of 1:25.15.  Mayette had an exceptional time of 1:11.75 in the 100 Butterfly, placing her 15th for the Championship, while Evans' time of 1:01.26 landed him 20th in the 100 Butterfly.

Tomororw is the 4th and final day of competition, back in the pool in the morning session for Wells will be Barr, Janelle Smalls and Liz Decker swiming the 100 Freestyle. Mayette will be swimming the 200 Backstroke and 200 Butterfly for the women's team.  Evans will be competing in the 200 Butterfly, and Reilly in the 100 Freestyle for the men's team.
