Women's Soccer Falls to The Celtics

Wells College women's soccer continued conference play this afternoon when they hosted the Carlow University Celtics.

The Express also took some time this afternoon to honor their three graduating seniors, Lydia Thomas, Morgan Gingras, and Anna Bernatavitz. Congratulations seniors and thank you!

The Celtics scored first in this one only 7 minutes into the match. They went on to score two more goals before halftime. The Express had some scoring opportunities from Lydia Thomas and Hannah Lamont but were not able to capitalize. Late in the second half, the Celtics were able to add two more goals and win this one by a score of 5-0.

The Express goalkeeper, Mya Chickering did record her 100th save of the season so far in the game. Congratulations Mya!

Up next for Women's soccer, they will head to Hilbert College on Monday for a 7 p.m. game.
