Women's Soccer Takes On the Hilbert Hawks

Wells College women's soccer was back in action Monday night. They hit the road to take on the Hilbert Hawks for another AMCC match-up.

The Hawks grabbed an early lead in this one when they buried a penalty kick to take a 1-0 lead in the first twenty minutes. Hilbert went on to add two more goals before halftime to make it 3-0. Mya Chickering had 12 saves in the first half alone against the Hawks. Hilbert came out in the second half and immediately built on their lead scoring two goals in the first five minutes of play. The rest of the half was more of the same from Hilbert which helped them win this match-up, 11-0.

Up next, women's soccer will host the Alfred State Pioneers on Wednesday at 6 p.m.
