Pink Game Tuesday For Wells Field Hockey

October is National Breast Cancer Awareness Month, and the Wells College field hockey team will emphasize this during its Tuesday, Oct. 3 home game against Castleton. The goal of Breast Cancer Awareness Month is to increase awareness of the disease and to raise funds for research into its cause, prevention, diagnosis, treatment, and cure.

At Tuesday's game, Wells will wear pink jerseys to show support and recognize those affected by breast cancer. The team has pledged a donation and encourages fans to add to the donations with collections taken throughout the game. All proceeds will be donated to the Cancer Resource Center of the Finger Lakes.
