MEN'S AND WOMEN'S SWIMMING FINISH STRONG AGAINST UTICA

Aurora, New York – Both the men's and women's swim teams finished last night's meet against Utica College with wins in the 200 Yard Freestyle Relay. The women's relay team (Alli Beck, Ashley Reed, Idolyn Villiotti, Jackie Ross) defeated Utica with a time of 1:58.9; while Drew Teter closed a 1.5 second gap in the last leg of the men's relay (Court Carnahan, Chris Guard, Anthony Monachino, Teter), narrowly beating out Utica by .09 seconds.

Although, Utica College would win the overall meet, Wells had a few highlights of their own. Teter continues to swim strong for the Express, defeating Utica swimmer Matthew Galbraith in the Men's 200 Yard Freestyle with a time of 2:02.86, setting the All-Time record.

The men's team continues to rewrite the record books as Kristopher Bradt put himself 6th on the All-Time Top Ten for the 100 Freestyle with a time of 1:06.09. While Anthony Monachino shaved a few seconds off his 500 Freestyle landing him 3rd All-Time.

The Wells College swim team will take to the pool next on Saturday, November 15th at 1:00 pm against Cazenovia at Wells.
