VILLIOTTI NAMED SAAC ATHLETE OF THE WEEK

Aurora, New York – Freshmen Idolyn Villiotti from Amherst, NH was recently named SAAC Athlete of the Week for the week ending November 30th. Villiotti helped lead the women's swim team to victory of SUNY Cobleskill, 62-29, on November 20th finishing first in the 200 Yard Individual Medley and the 100 Yard Backstroke.

"After spending the night on a recruiting trip with the swimmers I knew Wells was where I wanted to be," said Villiotti.

Villiotti, who will be looking into the humanities as a major, finds swimming as a good get away from studies. "Swimming is a break from classes, it's great exercise, and I almost always do better work after practice and workouts."

Villiotti has four different first place finishes in the first seven meets of the year.

Wells will now head into their longest stretch of the season without a meet with over three weeks off until they head to Buffalo State College on January 14th, at 4:00 pm for their next swim meet.
