Men's Cross Country Takes Seventh At Hamilton Short Course Event

The Wells College men's cross country team tuned up for the approaching North Eastern Athletic Conference Championships with a group of six runners competing and the team finishing seventh at the Hamilton College Short Course Invitational on Saturday, Oct. 22. The five-kilometer course traversed the Hamilton College Golf Course in Clinton, N.Y.

Adam M. Sleezer was the first runner across the finish line for Wells in 18 minutes, six seconds in 35th place in a field of 90 runners. Tanner Mingen was 67th with a time of 19:33.

The remaining quartet for the Express finished between 20 and 25 minutes, with Antonio D'Arpino clocking 20:10, John Tolley crossing in 21:14, Ky'aire Reed finishing in 21:55 and Bradlee Sherman finishing in 24:20.

The Express will compete at the NEAC Championships on Saturday, Oct. 29 at Lancaster, Pa.
