Feudale Draws NEAC Student-Athlete of the Week Honors

GANSEVOORT, N.Y. – Sophomore Hilary Feudale (Coal Township, Pa.) was tabbed as the North Eastern Athletic Conference Women's Swimming Student-Athlete of the Week for her performance against the Bengals of Buffalo State College and the Falcons of Cedar Crest College on Saturday. Feudale picks up weekly conference honors for the fifth time of her career.

Feudale's times lifted Wells to a 129-36 victory over the Falcons of Cedar Crest College. She drew the meet's top honor in the 100 Yard Backstroke, completing her laps with a time of 1:06.40 to place a full four seconds ahead of the second place finisher.

Feudale was also a part of one of the tighter relay finishes on the afternoon as the foursome of freshman Amelia Flint (Bath, N.Y.), sophomore Nina Daniels (Pittsford, N.Y.), junior Olive Touron (Cato, N.Y.) and Feudale completed the 200 Yard Freestyle Relay in 1:54.03, finishing ahead of the Buffalo State foursome by only .40 seconds.

The sophomore also competed in the 50 Yard Freestyle, placing third amongst seven competitors with a time of 27.25.

The Express return to action this Saturday, Jan. 18 as they face-off against Mansfield and Pitt.-Bradford at the Paul C. Duke III Aquatic Center in Bradford, Pa. beginning at 1:00 p.m.
