57 Student-Athletes Earn NEAC Scholar-Athlete Honors

GANSEVOORT, N.Y. – Fifty-seven student-athletes from Wells College earned North Eastern Athletic Conference Scholar-Athlete recognition for their achievements in the classroom, the conference office announced Tuesday. At least one representative for each of Wells' NCAA Division III sports teams earned placement on the list and the 57 total student-athletes from the College mark an all-time high since joining the NEAC in 2007.

In order to be selected to the list, a student-athlete must have achieved a combined grade point average of 3.40 or higher for the fall and spring semesters and must have been in good standing on his or her team. Nine multiple-sport athletes from Wells earned placement on the list and one three-sport athlete was also recognized.
